Contact Printer Setup Reference

Please read before writing to us: Printer Setup Reference does not offer technical support. We cannot troubleshoot, diagnose, configure, or repair any printer or computer. We do not host or supply downloads of any kind. We do not take telephone calls about printer problems, we operate no helpline or live chat service, and we will never ask for — or accept — remote access to your device.

We are an independent publisher of educational reference material. Correspondence about the accuracy of our articles, our editorial policies, our privacy practices, or legal and licensing matters is welcome and will be read. Requests for help with a specific device cannot be answered, and we would rather say so plainly here than leave you waiting for a reply that will not come.

This address receives all correspondence: editorial corrections, privacy and data-protection requests, trademark and copyright matters, advertising and compliance enquiries, and general questions about the publication.

Response time

We aim to acknowledge every message that falls within the categories below within five (5) business days of receipt. Data-protection requests made under applicable privacy law are handled within the statutory period set by that law, which may be shorter. We do not operate outside normal business hours and we provide no emergency or same-day channel of any kind.

What we can respond to

  • Corrections — a factual error, an outdated statement, or a broken page on this site.
  • Privacy and data protection — access, deletion, correction, portability, or objection requests concerning your personal data.
  • Trademark, copyright, and licensing — including requests from rights holders regarding descriptive references to their marks.
  • Editorial and funding policy — questions about our independence, our advertising arrangements, or our sourcing.
  • Press and academic enquiries, and requests to cite or reproduce our material.

What we cannot respond to

  • Requests to fix, configure, connect, install, reset, or repair a printer, computer, phone, or network.
  • Requests for drivers, firmware, applications, installers, product keys, or activation codes.
  • Requests for a telephone number to call for device assistance — we do not operate one and do not maintain a directory of others.
  • Warranty claims, returns, refunds, order tracking, or account matters relating to any manufacturer or retailer. We have no access to any manufacturer's systems, records, or accounts, and no authority to act on their behalf.

If you need help with a specific device

The documentation supplied in your device's packaging, and the manufacturer's own published support channels, are the appropriate resources. Reach those channels by typing the manufacturer's web address directly into your browser's address bar — the strip at the very top of the window — rather than by searching for it, and verify the address you have landed on before entering any information. A support telephone number that surfaces from a forum post, a pop-up message, a directory listing, or an advertisement has no verified connection to the company named beside it.
